Amphipathic α-helical peptide that disrupts microbial membranes through electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions, and modulates innate immune signalling via FPR2 and P2X7 receptors in cultured cells.

Key pre-clinical findings

  • Broad-spectrum in-vitro activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including biofilm models (Dürr et al., 2006 review).
